Season's Greetings

and Happy New Year to one and all!

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and good vibes throughout 2010 ~

wishing you and yours every joy and success through 2011.

This year for us has been busy in some ways and quiet in others. Some highlights include:

~ becoming auntie and uncle to my twin brother's son

~ the engagement of my step-sister and her boyfriend

~ Hubby completing his builder's licence, which now means he can run jobs in Queensland (ie what he has done for most of his career but he now has the 'ticket' to do it here)

~ graduating from 'Bizness Babes' (workshops for entrepreneurial women)

~ Hubby's brother, brother's girlfriend, Hubby's sister moving to our neck of the woods in Brisbane

~ a visit to Waiheke for my step-father's 80th as well as a 'surprise' visit to Whangarei to see Hubby's family

~ attending the 2nd National Conference for Young Women affected by Breast Cancer (at the Gold Coast, Qld, Aus)

~ switching from tamoxifen to arimidex, which has helped (and will hopefully continue to help) with my ongoing fatigue, nausea, migraines, and memory problems

~ keeping a fairly regular stream of private students

~ working more hours at Language Studies International, which I really enjoy

~ a visit from my mum and step-father

~ seeing U2 in concert and getting front row seats to West Side Story

~ volunteering with and fund-raising for 'Look Good ... Feel Better'

~ discovering the convenience of online grocery shopping

After Christmas / next year we look forward to...

...Seeing the musical 'Wicked' with friends

...Hubby's sister and her boyfriend moving to Brisbane

...Visits from friends and family
